A Virtual vintage market

Wowwwwweee! What an amazing Sunday we had taking part in A Virtual Vintage Market. Pauline and I were both a little nervous at first and also did not really know what to expect! Also is there anything more scary then an instagram live? But after a few minutes we felt fully in the flow of sharing our vintage treasure with everyone that came and checked out our Instagram to see what we were selling.

We also just really enjoyed being around all the lovely clothes, having them displayed like a little shop that we managed to create with pieces of vintage furniture from our own homes.  We had a lot of fun trying on the clothes for customers, making videos and also getting to know a new community of vintage traders and customers.

Whenever Pauline and me are together we have the best time and it didn't take long for the coffee to be swapped it for something boozey. And although social distancing was adhered to, we had lots of fun selling our vintage to some lovely ladies.

For us we feel relatively new to the vintage world and still in the early stages of growing our business together. So we were genuinely overwhelmed with the amount of sales and amazing feedback about us and our product. We also gained way more instagram followers then ever before.  We closed our shop for the day with the biggest smile and lots of lovely orders to get ready to send.. even to as far as HongKong!

So we wanted to take the time to say thank you to A Virtual Vintage Market for letting us take part in such a successful event you should feel mega proud of what you have achieved for the vintage world. If you want to know more about what they do, head over to their website www.avirtualvintagemarket.co.uk/

To thank you for your support, we have held a competition giving away a gorgeous purple 1960s suede skirt. The winner has been announced this morning.

All the love
